A Memorable Journey with ASPAYM Castilla y León, Mano Europa, and
The Pink Box Foundation: Embracing Inclusion and Self-Care in Valladolid

Despite the chilly and rainy welcome from Spain,
our trip to Valladolid turned out to be an unforgettable experience. We had the incredible opportunity
to connect with ASPAYM Castilla y León, Mano Europa from Lithuania, and The Pink Box Foundation.
The international blend of Erasmus+ groups made
this event both enriching and productive, leaving
us inspired and eager to bring back new ideas
to our communities in ouor homelands.

A Warm Welcome Amidst the Rain

The weather might have been cold and rainy, but the warmth of the people we met more than made up for it. From the moment we arrived,
the hospitality and enthusiasm of our hosts were evident. The event was a melting pot
of cultures and ideas, all united under
the Erasmus+ banner.

Fostering Inclusivity
and Empowerment

One of the highlights of our time in Valladolid was the series of discussions

on menstruation inclusivity, a topic championed by The Pink Box Foundation. These conversations were eye-opening

and highlighted the importance of creating inclusive environments that address

the needs of everyone, regardless of gender or physical ability. We shared our experiences and learned from each other, discussing

best practices and innovative approaches

to menstrual empowerment.

Embracing Self-Care

In addition to the discussions,

we participated in various self-care sessions, including yoga and meditation.

These activities were not just about relaxation; they were essential in fostering

a sense of well-being and community among participants. The sessions provided a much-needed break from our busy schedules

and reminded us of the importance of taking care of our mental and physical health.

The Power of Community

Throughout the event, our questions, comments, and suggestions were invaluable. They helped us understand

the diverse needs of our community

and how we can better serve them.

The collective wisdom and shared experiences of everyone involved made

the event a true success. We left Valladolid with a wealth of knowledge and a renewed sense of purpose.

Bringing Inspiration Home

We are incredibly grateful to ASPAYM Castilla y León, Mano Europa, The Pink Box Foundation, and to everyone

who participated. The connections

we made and the lessons we learned

are priceless. We can’t wait to bring back the inspiration and ideas to our local communities!. Together, we will continue

to build inclusive, empowered,

and supportive environments for all.

.

Thank you to everyone who made this event possible. Your dedication and passion are what make these international collaborations so impactful. Until next time! 💫
